Everyone has a story. Each story matters. Here's mine.

As a pastors kid, you're supposed to have a perfect childhood with a perfect family. That's not really how it works. I was the son of pastor, grandson of a pastor, married the daughter of pastor, and to my great surprise became a pastor myself. You can say that God and church must of have been a family thing, but I never really thought of it that way. I still don't. In fact, I think it's the most personally thing about someone, the difference is that what you believe about God effects everyone else. I grew up in a very conservative Evangelical home and for the most part it was pretty good. I enjoyed life. I had 3 older brothers and golden retriever that we cleverly named 'Goldy'. Like everyone else in this world, I collected some 'baggage' along the way. Figured I could handle it. Turned out I was wrong.
